Chapel Hill, NC — Vatandosh Connect is pleased to support and collaborate with the North Carolina meditation community in hosting the Annual Osho Meditation Retreat, which will take place May 7–10, 2026 at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina.
The retreat will bring together participants from across the United States and international meditation communities for several days of mindfulness practice, dialogue, and experiential learning centered around meditation techniques developed by the Indian mystic and philosopher Osho.
This collaboration reflects Vatandosh Connect’s broader mission of promoting education, cross-cultural exchange, and personal development through dialogue between traditions and communities.
Meditation as Education and Cultural Exchange
Throughout history, meditation traditions have been an important part of human culture and philosophical inquiry. The upcoming retreat will offer participants the opportunity to explore meditation not as a belief system, but as a practical educational experience in awareness, emotional balance, and self-observation.
Participants will engage in a variety of practices including:
Dynamic Meditation
Kundalini Meditation
Nadabrahma Meditation
Silent sitting and awareness practices
Community dialogue and reflection
Music and celebrative meditation
These techniques are designed to help individuals experience greater clarity, relaxation, and presence in their daily lives.
Building Bridges Between Communities
Vatandosh Connect works to build meaningful connections between cultures, educational institutions, and communities across borders. Supporting gatherings that encourage self-reflection, dialogue, and intercultural understanding aligns naturally with this mission.
The retreat is expected to attract participants from multiple countries, offering an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to meet in a spirit of openness and learning.
By supporting initiatives that promote mindfulness, awareness, and intercultural exchange, Vatandosh Connect continues its work of fostering human development, community dialogue, and shared learning experiences.
A Gathering for Reflection and Community
Set in the peaceful mountain setting of Lake Junaluska, the retreat will provide a supportive environment for participants to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and engage in meaningful conversations with others interested in meditation and personal growth.
The retreat is open to both experienced meditators and newcomers. No prior meditation experience is required.
